This lovely mom scheduled her family’s photo session as a little birthday present to herself (a great idea, I must say!!). But she had another really special reason she wanted these photos taken of her family…someday, she wants her little boy to see them for a very specific reason:
“I would like some of the photos to show my son’s trach, and g-tube as well…not a lot, but some.
I want him to know, years from now, what a brave little rock-star he was/is.
In a couple years, if all goes well, they will both be removed!!!”
How wonderful to get a glimpse into the heart of why she wanted these photos. She wants to show their little guy just how far he’d come. And not just that, when he’s older, he’ll look at these pictures and see just how much his mom and dad love him – and how precious the memories of the little things are to them…like the books they read to him every day and his favorite toys.
They have a great future to look forward to as their son gets stronger and stronger, but with each passing day, things are changing. These memories are precious to his mom and dad now – and will be priceless to their boy when he’s grown. ❤️
