The Jackson Family – Springtime Family Photo Session, Pilcher Park, Joliet IL
Greetings!! It’s been a while since I posted anything on the blog (mid-December to be exact!). Once things got too cold and too busy with the holidays, I just hunkered down for the winter months. But, each day, I eagerly awaited the arrival of spring so I could get back out there and take some pictures!! Well, I finally got my opportunity this past weekend! Yay!
I was so happy to hear back from the Jackson Family who asked to do a spring family photo session at Pilcher Park in Joliet. What a wonderful way to kick off the 2017 season! This time, however, I had the privilege of meeting members of their extended family! Getting multiple generations together this way is such a wonderful thing to do…a way to capture memories you’ll treasure forever and a great way to celebrate family.
The kids, of course, were so much fun – and, to my delight, eager to show off for the camera (one with an spectacular handstand, another demonstrating the Michael Jackson ‘lean’). Too, too adorable! These little ones are truly blessings to this lovely family.
Many thanks again to the Jacksons for being my first session of the 2017 season. I’m very excited about the year ahead!
