During this photo session, the Caruso family and I enjoyed a beautiful summer evening with a glowy sunset as we wandered around and explored the most lovely family farm I'd ever seen!
I recently had the wonderful opportunity to photograph this beautiful family again! This time, we met at The Wildflower Farm in Monee! It was my first time taking photos at this location, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of perfection!
A fun-filled birthday celebration in Mokena IL with a surprise extended family session given as a gift to the birthday girl! What a great idea!
On this particular day of minis, all proceeds were to be donated to The Portwood Family (you can read about their story here if you'd like). This amazing family (The Edwards) did double duty and purchased two minis so they could donate twice as much to the Portwoods (one session for themselves and another for family that was in town visiting them)! Absolutely amazing and so generous. I'm so thankful for them and each of the other wonderful families that stepped in and purchased a mini on this day.[...]

I'm thankful that I get to meet the most lovely families when I take photos. When I started my photography business in 2016, I asked this family if I could photograph them so I could have some sample photos on the website I was building. They graciously said yes, and that helped me get by little business going! Now look at them...six years later, the kids are so much bigger and there's a new grandchild in the mix!
