This is the 2nd year I've gotten the privelege to see this little guy for a birthday photo shoot. What a joy! He's busy and inquisitive...and it's such fun following him around as he plays.

Wow- the warm glow of the sun in these photos is so amazing to me! A few days before these minis, we had some terrible cold, WINDY days! I was scared all the leaves had blown off the trees, but I was so happy (and relieved) to see that there was still a little color around (though not much!)
I'm thankful that I get to meet the most lovely families when I take photos. The day I met the Zamzow family at Lincoln Landing in Lockport (which is a lovely spot for fall pics, by the way), it was so chilly! But look at their little trooper who smiled all the way through! When I started my photography business in 2016, I asked this family if I could photograph them so I could have some sample photos on the website I was building. About a year ago, I purchased an adorable little egg chair with the hopes of doing some mini sessions with it. I don't know why it took me so long to actually bring it up from the basement, but I'm happy I finally did it. News flash, morning photo sessions are awesome. I met my friend Lisa and her wonderful kids for a session at a Forest Preserve in Mokena.
