Meet beautiful, 6-week old Harper! What a beauty! Already, she’s smiling and having delightful cooing conversations with her mom and dad! It’s amazing to me – and a joy to watch as I see her interact with the people who are her world right now.
I had the joy of meeting Harper – along with her mom and dad and grandparents – in beautiful Dellwood Park in Lockport. Mom and dad are in love with their little beauty and the grandparents are totally smitten with their first grand-daughter.
Indeed, babies are a beautiful way to start people! And seeing little Harper flooded my mind with memories of my first baby – who is now about to start High School (gulp!). All I can say is that the Rush family is in for such a treat. Harper will bring them more joy and excitement than they could ever imagine…will she be musical? Maybe she’ll play the piano. Maybe she’ll love to draw and paint. Maybe she’ll be a math whiz. Maybe she’ll be awesome at basketball or soccer. Maybe she’ll be a bookworm. Maybe she’ll be a fabulous mix of all of these things! Who knows?
Right now, she is a beautiful, smiley bundle of awesome potential – and her family will have the joy of seeing her grow into all that God has designed to be! What exciting years they have ahead of them!
