This session has a story...I was contemplating the idea to do 15 minute mini sessions in the fall, but wasn't quite sure if I could get a good variety of poses/shots in such a short time frame. Well, this adorable family helped me ge the answer to my questions. :-)
This was one of the most lovely photo sessions I've ever done. This family was absolutely the sweetest ever.

What are 'the dickens'...and how do you know if someone is full of them?!? Something to think about, right? I don't know, but my friends Andy and Erin were pretty sure their little ones (especially their little guy) were full of them on the day of our photo session. It's kind of depressing looking out the window at the moment...its really cold, gray, dreary. Much to my dismay, several of the weekends in October were much the same, and planned photo sessions had to be rescheduled. However, on the 21st, we had the ideal weekend, and I was busy (yay!)! Photos from those sessions have all been edited, galleries have been delivered, and I'm now just working to catch up with the blog posts! Why - on a rainy day like today, there's no better project than working on the blog.[...]
Hello! I hope you've had a great summer. I can't believe it's almost over! Just like most kids in the area this week, my three were dreading the first day of school (though I know they were excited about it at the same time). We certainly have enjoyed a beautiful fall this year! I'm thankful that the pretty colors have lasted as long as they have...though I can tell that things look a bit more brown now (sigh). Everything still looks beautiful though, and it was so nice to meet the Gorczowski family in downtown Frankfort for a fall photo session! It was awesome to see our old neighbors for a photo session the other day...AND meet their newest little boy! What a little doll. I remember when they had no kids!! Now - it's beautiful to see how this family has grown. Oh my goodness, was this little guy cute!! He's celebrating his first birthday and showing off his two little teeth! What a cutie!! I LOVE babies...and it's a total joy for me to hold them, kiss them, love them, and of course, take pictures of them!
