The Raatjes Family – Fall Family Photo Session in Downtown Frankfort IL
Well, I believe this is year #3 of my taking photos of this awesome family. ♥️
The best part of it all? Though the kids have grown since I last saw them, they are just as fun and wacky as they were when I first took their photos (Erin, their mom, calls it the ‘dickens’ 😂). Being silly and the ability to laugh, have fun, and enjoy every moment of life is a skill that kids specialize in, I believe. Too bad that we seem to lose that as we grow older. I love silly people…I really do. And I love being around them.
That said, taking photos of this family is always a joy. We laugh a lot, and I snap photos in the midst of all the shenanigans – hoping to actually capture the silliness (and love) that makes the Raatjes family so special. It’s quite fun. Also, this family was one of the first I photographed early in my business, so it’s a special blessing to me that I get to see them every year!!
